London School of Economics  | World Bank

Hi! I am an urban and environmental economist working at the World Bank.

I am affiliated with the Programme for Innovation and Diffusion (POID) and the Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics, where I completed my PhD.  My research has been supported by the ESRC, the IGC, and the World Bank Sustainable Development Fellowship. My research has been featured in media outlets including the FT, the Economist and the Times.

During my PhD,  I taught spatial data analysis using satellite data (GY476) and Environment and Development (GY329). I was the convenor for the quantitative spatial model (QSM) PhD reading group in 2023/2024.

I worked in economic research and policy impact evaluation for five years at the LSE's Centre for Economic Performance and the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth.  In that time I was also a consultant for the OECD, the World Bank and the Greater London Authority.
